Monetary policy was my initial PhD application to the Imperial College London. Of course, for Thesis Only programmes, you have to submit a dissertation proposal. I got sidetracked a bit, but I hope to finish a paper on price controls and a book on monetary policy soon. I want to publish 5 books in the next 10 years.
